We are looking for a great person to join our team! You will be a primary customer contact on technical and service-related problems on a wide range of industrial, robotic and printing equipment. Please note: this is NOT an IT job - we are looking for someone with electrical and mechanical experience.
This is a direct-hire position: that means you will be on our client's payroll from day 1! Get your foot in the door with a great company! This is a one-year position with the potential to be permanent.
The pay range for this position is $24-30/hour, based on experience.
Responsibilities Include:
- Install, troubleshoot and repair a variety of industrial products (printing and packaging equipment, X-ray machines, cash recycling products, inserting and sorting machines, credit card attaching and processing systems, robotics and other accessories)
- Schedule and perform regular preventive maintenance inspections on equipment
- Manage parts inventory and customer service calls
- Act as a liaison between the customer and other departments/functions of the company
- Respond to emergency and non-scheduled calls for service within established response time goals
- You will be in a front-facing role - must be customer-focused
Requirements:
- Must have a High School diploma or equivalent with 2-year degree or diploma in electronics/advanced mechanics/software training
- Must have at least 1 year related industry/equipment experience
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check with reliability clearance
- Strong electronics and mechanical background, understanding of computer program functionality and software troubleshooting skills
- Ability to use standard and specialized hand, power and diagnostic tools and measuring equipment, such as oscilloscopes, DMM, gauges, etc.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, quantitative, and time management skills
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Ability to work at heights (up to 20 feet)
- Ability to work in small, cramped spaces
- Must be able to travel within the United States and Canada
- Bilingual - fluent in both French and English (written and verbal) is an asset
