Responsibilities
- Develop 2D and 3D industrial electrical designs and layouts
- Create and interpret motor schematics
- Assist with equipment selection and design budgeting
- Coordinate with engineers and project managers
- Prepare routing and installation details in line with codes
- Contribute to project estimates, schedules, and proposals
- Review and understand system and design layouts
- Ensure designs meet applicable electrical codes and standards
- Collaborate across disciplines for integrated project delivery
- Support construction and installation teams with technical drawings
Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of electrical design experience
- Proficient in AutoCAD 2D/3D; Revit experience is a plus
- Experience with motor schematics and industrial electrical layouts
- College diploma in engineering technology or related field
- Intermediate working knowledge of CAD software
- Knowledge of MV/HV systems and VFD motor control is an asset
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access)
