Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D industrial electrical designs, including equipment layouts, cable trays, and lighting plans
- Create and interpret motor schematics and electrical diagrams
- Assist with equipment selection while considering budget constraints
- Coordinate with engineers and project managers to support design development
- Prepare routing and installation details in compliance with applicable electrical codes and standards
- Contribute to project estimates, schedules, and technical proposals
- Review and analyze system and design layouts for accuracy and completeness
- Ensure all designs meet relevant industry standards and codes
- Collaborate with other disciplines to support integrated project delivery
- Provide technical drawing support to construction and installation teams
Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design
- Proficient in AutoCAD (2D & 3D); Revit experience is an asset
- Strong experience with motor schematics and industrial electrical layouts
- College diploma in engineering technology or a related field
- Intermediate-level proficiency in CAD systems
- Familiarity with MV/HV power systems and VFD motor controls (LV/MV) is an asset
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
