The Site Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with design, schedule, safety, and quality standards. This role plays a central part in coordinating subcontractors, enforcing health and safety protocols, managing site logistics, and ensuring overall project execution aligns with milestones and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day site operations, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to specification.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site resources to optimize performance.
- Enforce site safety protocols and ensure all personnel adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Maintain and update daily site documentation, including reports, progress photos, and issue tracking.
- Monitor workmanship and material quality, ensuring adherence to project specifications and contract documents.
- Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders to provide regular site updates and address issues proactively.
- Manage site inspections, site logistics, punch lists, and project close-out activities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Site Superintendent on ICI construction projects.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, structural, and architectural scopes.
- Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Solid leadership and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple trades effectively.
- Familiarity with building codes, safety legislation, and construction best practices.
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, SiteDocs), MS Office, and digital reporting tools
- Experience in cold storage, food processing, or other environmentally controlled construction is a strong asset.
