We are seeking a reliable and proactive AM Dispatcher to join our logistics and transportation team in Delta, BC. This role is key to keeping our early morning operations running smoothly by coordinating drivers, shipments, and customer communications to ensure timely and efficient service.
Schedule & Compensation
- Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- $25/hour paid weekly every Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and dispatch drivers for pickups and deliveries.
- Monitor routes and provide real-time support to drivers.
- Communicate with customers regarding delivery times and service updates.
- Collaborate with warehouse and operations staff to ensure freight is ready.
- Resolve delays, service issues, or route disruptions promptly.
- Maintain accurate records in dispatch systems and prepare handover notes.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 2 years of LTL dispatch experience in the Greater Vancouver Area (required).
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with dispatch software and GPS tracking tools.
- Knowledge of local and regional transportation routes (an asset).
- Nice to have: Experience with TruckMate dispatch software.
