Armor People Link is hiring Set Up Operators for Brampton based client who manufactures plastic food bags.The candidate will be working on bi-weekly rotational shifts.

PLEASE NOTE- *The client is looking for candidates who are available to work full-time and are not attending school.

The company is located at Queen and Rutherford Intersection.

The candidate has to work in rotational shifts as below: (BIWEEKLY ROTATIONAL SHIFTS)
1. Morning Shift : 7 am-3:15pm at $23.15/hour
2. Afternoon Shift : 3pm- 11:15pm at $23.15/hour +$ 0.75 as afternoon shift premium
3. Night Shift : 11:15pm-7:15am at $23.15/hour + $1.25 as night shift premium


The candidate MUST be available to work on a bi-weekly rotating shift schedule.*

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING :
- Sets up, adjusts and operates a specialized bag making machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
- Performs necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation of bag machines
- Operates and monitors multiple pieces of equipment to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops
- Communicates with team members and supports teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials
- Aligns and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials onto machines
- Loads and unloads material using material handling equipment and hoists
-Troubleshoots and performs preventative maintenance on specialized bag making machines
- Performs minor maintenance of equipment
- Completes SOP forms and enters data into company ERP system
- Adheres to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment
Requirements:
WHO IS OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE :
 Anyone who has completed the high school diploma.
 Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical Engineering is an asset
 Anyone at least 2 year of previous manufacturing experience in similar role and mechanical aptitude will be preferred
 Excellent troubleshooting and analytical abilities
 Strong mechanical aptitude and multi tasking skills in a fast paced environment
 Attention to detail and ability to read Blueprints, Schematics and Manuals
 Prior experience of working different shifts is an asset (preferably night shifts)
 Ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted
Qualifications:
SELECTION CRITERIA :
 An interview will be conducted by Armor consultant
 Qualified candidates will be presented further to our client for an interview
 Final decision will be taken by our client for successful on-boarding of suitable candidates
 Police clearance check is a MUST
 Double vaccination status is required
