Presenting Our Esteemed Client:
We are hiring General Labourers for potential upcoming opportunities with our esteemed client-a global leader in logistics and supply chain solutions. Operating in over 100 countries, they distribute a wide range of products, including health foods, baby care items, energy drinks, and household goods. Products vary in weight from 15 lbs to 50 lbs, depending on the department.
What a typical day looks like:
Product Handling (products can vary between different weight, sizes and shapes), some roles require pallet building through out the shift
Order picking (RF Scanning); sorting, picking, packaging, labeling, auditing, quality inspection.
Maintain service quality by following organizations standards
Some positions require computer literacy to train and operate WMS and Purolator software's for shipping out the products
Ensure that customer service targets and goals are successfully met
Ensure the company's Health and Safety and Operational efficiencies are met
Actively communicate with supervisors and operators to effectively handle material and notify them of problems/concerns
Stack skids or pallets in designated areas.
Clean up and dispose of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping and place in proper containers or designated areas
Work in any given department and other general warehouse duties as assigned
Overtime will be paid after 44 hours
Requirements:
What are we looking for:
Associate must be able to read, write and speak English language
Ability to work Monday through Friday and some weekend as per the client over-time requirements
Must be legally eligible to work full-time minimum 40 hours on legal credentials
Ability to pass the Background check
Associate must have minimum of 6 months of warehouse experience
Must have CSA approved steel-toed safety boots
Associates are required to be prompt and on-time
Associate must be comfortable working in a fast paced, productivity-focused environment Associate must be comfortable with frequent bending, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs
Associate must be adaptable to work in any department and for cross- training
