Ready to take the next step in your career? We're hiring an Inventory Control Specialist to join our client's team in a fast-paced Distribution Center environment. The ideal candidate will be proficient in cycle counting, inventory processes, and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. This role requires excellent communication with internal teams and management to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly cycle counts, providing accurate reports to management.
Perform inventory audits and investigate discrepancies to identify root causes and recommend solutions.
Monitor and manage inventory transactions to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Review product velocity and recommend optimal pick location strategies.
Inspect product locations to verify quantities, labeling, and accuracy.
Document and resolve errors related to SKUs and maintain accurate records.
Provide daily allocation reporting and assist with questions from internal and client teams.
Support escalation events and resolve end-user inventory issues professionally.
Represent the team on special projects and client initiatives.
Ensure 100% compliance with cycle count requirements.
Requirements:
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in an inventory control role.
Proficient in cycle counting and advanced inventory processes.
Knowledge of Pyramid software (or similar inventory management systems).
Forklift license is an asset.
Strong ability to learn and understand multiple supply chain-related systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision, and collaborate as a team player.
Strong decision-making skills with a focus on improving customer satisfaction.
