Our Banking client is looking for an Intermediate Finance Project Coordinator (SOW, Invoices, Procurement)
Length: 6 months contract with the possibility of extension and conversion to full time employment
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid) - 2 to 3 days in office per week
Working Hours: 9:00 am to 4:30 pm (excluding lunch break)

Requirements:
ROLE MANDATE:
Performs a variety of administrative and clerical tasks, financial and resources administration and provides professional support to one or more Managers. The role provides general offices services ensuring all administrative and operational processes and control standards are followed, while seeking to determine, develop, and participate in implementation of improvement opportunities, contributing to the effective and efficient operation.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to):
1. SOW Management
 Review SOWs in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors and take it up for approvals
 Ensure that SOWs align with bank policies by working with the sourcing team
 Upload the approved SOWS to CLM (Contract Management Lifecycle) tool
 Create Purchase Orders for SOWs

2. Invoice Processing & Management
 Review the vendor invoices in accordance with contract terms and approved SOWs
 Ensure invoice matches to actual resources hours booked in timesheets
 Ensure timely approval of invoices to avoid payment delays

3. Onboarding/Offboarding
 Manage the end-to-end onboarding and offboarding process for resources, ensuring seamless transition
 This includes system and tool access provisioning/deactivation and engagement with relevant stakeholders to ensure a smooth experience

4. Finance:
 Provide estimated monthly accruals to the Finance team
 Analyze financial data to identify gaps in capitalization


Qualifications:
MUST HAVE SKILLS:
 Typically 5+ years of relevant experience in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field (preferred)
 2+ years of experience in SOW management, invoicing, or financial documentation (preferred)
 Strong understanding of contract terms, procurement processes, and invoices workflows
 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
 Verbal and written communication skills - In-depth
 Collaboration and team skills - In-depth
 Analytical and problem-solving skills - In-depth

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:
 Previous Finance experience

SOFT SKILLS:
 Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

INTERVIEW PROCESS:
 1st round - via MS Team with Hiring manager
 2nd round with Hiring manager's manager - via MS Teams
