Job Description

Our client, a well-established chemical treatment transportation company in Burlington, ON, is seeking an experienced AZ Driver to provide additional coverage during their busy season. This is a full-time, short-term role with the potential to become a long-term opportunity.

Location: Burlington, ON

Wage: $27+ per hour (based on experience & knowledge)

Hours: Start between 5-6 AM, up to 12-hour days; occasional overnight trips (e.g., Belleville)

About the Role:
- Begin and end each shift at the Burlington yard
- Operate 48ft trailers for deliveries across Ontario
- Routes vary and may include Niagara, Toronto, Sudbury, and other destinations (overnight stays required for longer routes - accommodations covered)
- Load and unload totes/drums as part of transportation duties
- Drive both manual and automatic trucks (strongly preferred)
- Complete an 8-week paid training program for chemical transportation

What You'll Bring:
- Valid AZ license
- Minimum 3 years of professional driving experience
- Clear driver's abstract
- Ability to safely handle freight and operate various truck types
- Comfort with required PPE: hard hat, goggles, face shield, work gloves, overalls, respirator (must be clean shaven for fit testing)

Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate trucks and adhere to all safety and transportation regulations
- Load/unload goods using proper techniques and equipment
- Maintain accurate trip logs and delivery documentation
- Follow all chemical transportation safety protocols
