Our client in Acton, Ontario is looking for a hard working General Labourer/Forklift Operator to join their team! This is an exciting opportunity to work at a kiln plant that manufactures various masonry products like concrete and cement, you will primarily responsible for moving product or mixing product, or cleaning up from these processes.
Shift: Continental days and nights shifts switching every two weeks
Pay: $25/hour
What will you do?
- Help move the skids to clean and then paint the lines
- Operate lift trucks to transport materials throughout the plant.
- Regularly use hand tools such as brooms, shovel, and manual painting equipment, power washer, air tools, power tools, such as drill motor, grinder, shop vacuum
- Perform minor preventative maintenance on equipment and/or partners with maintenance to solve equipment changes and problems
- Sweeping, shoveling, manual painting, equipment cleaning, and wire wheel grinding of steel forms
- Use Forklift to attach bag and place under spout so the mix can pour into bags
