As a Logistics Operations Assistant, you'll support daily logistics workflows, ensuring smooth coordination of shipments, documentation, and customer service. This role combines administrative accuracy with operational problem-solving, making you a key contributor to efficient supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including booking, documentation, and tracking.
Validate purchase orders, shipment notices, and invoices, escalating discrepancies as needed.
Maintain accuracy across Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), customs, and customer platforms.
Prepare and file operational documents (packing lists, reports, invoices).
Assist with inventory reconciliation and reporting on shortages, overages, or damages.
Respond to customer and stakeholder inquiries with timely updates.
Support process improvements and compliance with standard operating procedures.
Collaborate with internal teams, carriers, and vendors to ensure service quality.
Qualifications & Skills
Diploma or degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (preferred).
1+ year experience in logistics, ground freight, warehouse, or operations support.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and strong data accuracy skills.
Knowledge of WMS or similar systems is an asset.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks prioritizing urgencies
