Our client is a global leader in logistics and supply chain solutions with more than 300 locations in over 100 countries. They are a distributor of products such as protein bars& powder, energy drinks, baby food, vacuum products etc. These boxes weight between 15lbs to almost 50 lbs depending on the product.
Warehouse Associates are required for both morning and afternoon shift. Long term continuity and commitment is required.
Morning Shift: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Afternoon Shift: 3:30 pm to 12:00 am
Pay rate: $22/hour + 4% vacation pay (OT will be paid after 44 hours)
What a typical day looks like:
- Forklift driver would be responsible to operate any of the machines based on daily/weekly operational requirements (Crown Reach and Counterbalance)
- Shipping and Receiving
- Order picking using WMS Building and staging shipments
- Stock put-away
- Inventory maintenance/rotation
- Load and unload trailers/containers as required
- Actively communicate with supervisors and operators to effectively handle material and notify them of problems/concerns
Requirements:
What are we looking for:
- Must have a Counter Balance and Reach License
- Must have minimum 2 years experience on Crown Reach and Counterbalance forklift
- Worker Health & Safety Awareness certificate
- Ability to commit to shift Monday through Friday with overtime and weekends as per the operational requirements
- Must know how to operate a RF scanner
- Must be detail oriented
- Clear criminal background check
- Associate will be required to pass an initial safe forklift operator test at our client site
- Associate must be comfortable working in a fast paced, productivity-focused environment
- Associate must be comfortable with frequent bending, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs
