They are a distributor of products such as protein bars& powder, energy drinks, baby food, vacuum products etc. These boxes weight between 15lbs to almost 50 lbs depending on the product.
Warehouse Associates are required for both morning and afternoon shift. Long term continuity and commitment is required.
Morning Shift: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Afternoon Shift: 4 pm to 12:30 am
Pay rate: $18-$18.50 /hour + 4% vacation pay (OT will be paid after 44 hours)
What a typical day looks like:
Counterbalance Drivers : are responsible to operate Counterbalance Material handling equipment to move products within the warehouse and to assist with shipping and receiving of material.
o Shipping and receiving inbound and outbound trailers and containers
o Prepare orders by picking, packing, wrapping and labelling product
o Maintain service quality by following organizations standards
o Ensure that customer service targets and goals are successfully met
o Ensure the company's Health and Safety and Operational efficiencies are met
o General warehouse duties as assigned
o Actively communicate with supervisors and operators to effectively handle material and notify them of problems/concerns
o Accurately document work performed
o Assist in the efficient completion of inventory audits
o Stack skids or pallets in designated areas.
o Clean up and dispose of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping and place in proper containers or designated areas
o Sign applicable driver documentation as required
o Manual work may be required
o Container de-stuffing from time to time
o Additional work as expected
o Promote a clean, safe and positive work environment.
o Maintain the facility's equipment and materials and a clean, neat, and orderly work area
Requirements:
What are we looking for:
- Must have a Counter Balance License.
- Worker Health & Safety Awareness certificate
- Ability to commit to shift Monday through Friday with overtime and weekends as per the operational requirements
- At least a year experience on Sit-down electric/propane Counter Balance
- Must know how to operate a RF scanner
- Must be detail oriented
- Clear criminal background check

Candidates will be setup an interview with Armor
Qualified candidates will be presented further to our client for the forklift test.
Associate will be required to pass an initial safe forklift operator test at our client site
