We are looking for an experienced Crown reach driver with an ability to operate in narrow aisles warehouse work environment, also able to perform General labour duties such as hand bombing, moving products, Loading offloading, This role is 50% general labour work and 50% Forklift duties. T
Shift time : 8am to 3:30 pm ( Minimum 37.50 hours per week)
Pay rate : $20/hour + 4% Vacation pay
Work Breakdown:
Forklift : about 50% of the day
General help : 50% of the day
What a typical day looks like:
- Forklift driver would be responsible to operate any of the machines based on daily/weekly operational requirements (Crown Reach and Walkie)
- The driver is also responsible for helping to unload the Purolator trailer which is breakdown as it is being unloaded, Palletizing returns, wrapping pallets with a pallet wrapper. As well as act as a GL during the times that driving is not needed
- Order picking using WMS Building and staging shipments
- Stock put-away
- Inventory maintenance/rotation
- Load and unload trailers/containers as required
- Actively communicate with supervisors and operators to effectively handle material and notify them of problems/concerns
Requirements:
What are we looking for:
A dynamic, enthusiastic and collaborative professional who is able to perform Forklift and general manual work duties.
- 1-2 years Receiving /Warehouse experience with Crown reach and Walkie forklifts license
- Must have a Reach and Walkie
- Worker Health & Safety Awareness certificate
- Ability to commit to shift Monday through Friday with overtime and weekends as per the operational requirements
- Must know how to operate a RF scanner
- Must be detail oriented
- Clear criminal background check
- Associate will be required to pass an initial safe forklift operator test at our client site
- Associate must be comfortable working in a fast paced, productivity-focused environment
- Associate must be comfortable with frequent bending, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs
