Qualifications:
Hand tool experience
Pneumatic and hydraulic experience
Basic computer skills
Propane forklift experience an asset
Job duties include:
Assemble a wide range of product - from valves and rotating assemblies to pumps ranging from 1 ΒΌ" to 12" discharge sizes from pre-picked collections of parts. Air pressure test specific units as specified on the drawings. Advanced candidates may also be trained to build engine driven models up to 350 HP. Typical assembly tools include pneumatic guns, ratchets, torque wrenches, crane, bearing presses. Pump sizes range from 25 - 5,000 lbs
Must have ability to operate a forklift and crane (training provided). Must be able to navigate assembly drawings to determine how to correctly assemble pumps of various models. Mechanical aptitude a must. Some heavy lifting is required. Must have basic computer knowledge and skills.
Ability to use a wide range of mechanical tools. Good manual dexterity. Ability to shift focus between many different models/assembly methods. Ability to read technical drawings, being quality minded, experienced with air tools, and exposure to diesel engines and electrical work are also assets.
