We are currently recruiting for a full time CNC Machinist for a client in the South end of Guelph!
This is a full time position with the chance to get hired on for the right individual.
Wage ranges from $35-40/hour based on experience.
Will be working out of a manufacturing metal fabrication plant, working on large pieces and custom orders.
Job Duties described but are not limited to the following:
Set tooling as required ( e-mills, drills, boring bars, turning tools etc.)
Install fixtures on machines and establish work shift co-ordinates
Able to use effectively an edge finder
Able to use effectively dial and plunge indicators
Touch off all tools and prove out cnc programs
Make edits to cnc programs as required
Generate appropriate speeds and feeds for tooling
Create work holding to suit parts as required.
Operate Cnc Milling machines, and Cnc lathes
Read and interpret blueprints
Able to measure using various tools
Understanding of machines and the uses
May have knowledge of the following:
3D modeling
CAM programming
GD&T
