Job Description:
Oversee completion of non-conformances and corrective actions addressed to the Production Department
Complete Performance Evaluations for direct reports, as well as review all evaluations completed by Lead Hands and Shift Supervisors
Monitor staffing requirements and work with the Human Resources Department
Monitor standard vs. actual hours for production runs
Approve timesheets for reporting employees
Coach, train and develop staff
Monitor Production schedule and make recommendations regarding scheduling runs or part runs
Monitor and address any major safety concerns
Attend meetings as required
Monitor progress of special projects
Monitor overall Production plan operations
Experience:
Basic knowledge of Max system
Ability to manage a range of priorities and multitask
Extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes (minimum of 3 years experience)
Positive and co-operative team player, must be able to work closely with other departments to ensure productions schedules are met
Ability to communicate effectively and to inspire confidence from peers and subordinates alike
Capable of working with minimal supervision
