One of our major banking clients is looking for an Mailroom and Filing Clerk (Bank or Finance)
Length: 6 months contract with a possibility of extension or permanent
Location: Toronto, ON - ON-SITE
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM

Requirements:
ROLE MANDATE:
Candidate will be joining the File Management & Quality Control Team responsible for archiving and maintaining client documentation.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to):
 Intake documents that have been indexed and diarize to ensure the proper process is followed
 Intake documentation from the Mortgage Servicing Centre that will need to be scanned and uploaded into the system.
 Retrieving documents requested by teams in the field and sending them out to the appropriate parties
 Maintaining and updating a report detailing overdue documentation that has not arrived and following up with the appropriate parties
 Liaise with colleagues in the field and the funders who are advancing loans, retrieving documentation from Iron Mountain as requested
 Will handle incoming mail and create a log of internal documentation received and sent out.
 Responsible for maintaining the integrity of the file room including retrieving, returning, and documenting any actions on the relevant documentation.
Qualifications:
MUST-HAVE SKILLS:
 Strong experience with Microsoft Suite [primarily Excel, Outlook, and Word]
 Strong written/verbal communication Skills
 Strong attention to detail and accuracy

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS [not required]
 Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant or File Clerk
 University or College degree
