One of our government clients is looking for an AR Clerk
Length: 4 weeks contract with possibility of an extension
Location: Stouffville, ON - Onsite
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 am-4:30pm
Dept: Finance
Pay rate: $18.50/hour

Requirements:
Job Duties
Working in the Finance Dept:
Prepare AR invoices as needed
Notify Management of expiring Municipal Contracts
Prepare weekly cash and cheque deposits with appropriate coding
Ensure all EFT/credit card payments are processed for month-end
Follow-up with customers on outstanding accounts and pledges on a bi-weekly/as needed basis
Perform monthly reconciliations of the AR Control, AR Miscellaneous, and Bad Debt expense accounts including investigation and resolving any outstanding variances
Process monthly journal entries regarding insurance, deferred revenue, clearing accounts and other entries as required
